The standards behind the listings
Trust needs
clear ground rules.
These guidelines explain who can join, what belongs here, and how we protect the quality of the Community over time.
Purpose of the Digicards Community
The Digicards Community is a curated, family-friendly network designed to help people discover and connect with trusted businesses.
Every listing is reviewed and continuously monitored to maintain a safe, professional, and useful directory.
Eligibility for Listing
To be included, a business must:
- Offer legitimate, lawful products or services.
- Maintain a professional and trustworthy Digicard.
- Meet a family-friendly standard suitable for general audiences.
- Provide accurate and honest information.
Digicards may approve or decline any submission at its discretion.
Content standards
Listings may include professional services, education, finance, health, home services, appropriate retail, community organisations, and respectful branding. Listings must not promote:
- Adult or sexually suggestive material.
- Gambling, betting, alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products.
- Illegal products, hate speech, discrimination, or harmful content.
- Misleading claims, deceptive schemes, or offensive imagery and language.
Submission and approval
- A Digicard must be submitted before it can appear in Community.
- A listing stays pending until the Digicards team has reviewed it.
- Approval is based on these guidelines and is not guaranteed.
Ongoing compliance
Approval is not permanent. Updates to a listed Digicard must continue to meet these guidelines.
Digicards may review a listing periodically or in response to a visitor report.
Enforcement
- Adding prohibited content after approval.
- Misrepresenting a business or its services.
- Breaching the family-friendly standards.
A non-compliant listing may be removed immediately. Serious or intentional violations may lead to permanent removal and loss of the ability to reapply.
Reporting violations
Visitors may privately report any listing they believe breaks these guidelines. Digicards will investigate reports and take action where appropriate.
A report is a moderation signal, not a public accusation. Reporter details are handled according to the Digicards privacy notice.
Disclaimer and agreement
Inclusion in the Digicards Community does not constitute endorsement. Digicards is not responsible for services or claims made by listed businesses.
By submitting a Digicard, the owner confirms that they understand and will comply with these requirements.
